Rate My Line is an adults-only chat site, built on a plain observation: people fire off opening lines with no second opinion. Every judge on the panel is an AI character.

What this is

Sixteen invented women, each with a trade that involves judging something and a private scale she has never published. You offer a line, she gives it a number and a remark, and you try again. That is the whole product, and we would like to keep it small enough that it works.

About the word rates

The address says rates. It means scores. Nobody on this site is for hire, nothing here has a price except Plus, and no body, face or photograph is ever rated. The scoring applies to a sentence you typed. We say this on the front page so no one has to guess.

What this site will not do

• Score a body, a face or an uploaded photograph.
• Rank users against each other, or publish a leaderboard.
• Present a judge as a living person.
• Hand your sessions to advertisers or anyone else.
• Write any scene touching someone below 18, whatever frame is put round it.

Writing to the tabulator

A human being reads the mailbox shown in the footer. Appeals against a score are welcome, though the judges tend to hold their ground.
